Dr. Ahmadova, &#8220;Dijital amnezi&#8221; denilen bu sorunun ki\u015finin bilgiyi kendi zihninde tutmak yerine ak\u0131ll\u0131 telefon, bilgisayar ve di\u011fer dijital cihazlara emanet etmesi sonucu ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kaydetti; &#8220;Bilgiyi \u00f6\u011frenmek ve hat\u0131rlamak yerine \u2018nas\u0131l olsa gerekti\u011finde bulurum\u2019 yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n benimsenmesi uzun s\u00fcreli bellek olu\u015fumunu zay\u0131flat\u0131yor.&#8221; dedi.<br \/>\n<br \/>Ac\u0131badem Kent Hastanesi N\u00f6roloji Uzman\u0131 Dr. Nigar Ahmadov, bilgiyi hat\u0131rlamak yerine s\u00fcrekli dijital cihazlara kaydetmenin, beyin fonksiyonlar\u0131 \u00fczerinde olumsuz etkiler olu\u015fturabilece\u011fine dikkat \u00e7ekerek, uyar\u0131larda bulundu. Dijital amnezinin bilimsel literat\u00fcrde &#8220;Google etkisi&#8221; olarak da tan\u0131mland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade eden Uzm. Dr. Ahmadov, \u015f\u00f6yle konu\u015ftu:<br \/>\n<br \/>&#8220;Ak\u0131ll\u0131 telefonlara uzun s\u00fcreli maruz kalma ve bilgisayar ba\u015f\u0131nda yo\u011fun \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma nedeniyle bir\u00e7ok ki\u015fi not alma uygulamalar\u0131na ve dijital dosyalara ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131 hale geliyor. Bu al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131k dikkat da\u011f\u0131n\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131r\u0131yor ve bilgilerin ba\u011flam\u0131yla birlikte (nerede, kiminle \u00f6\u011frenildi\u011fi gibi) hat\u0131rlanmas\u0131n\u0131 zorla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131yor. Buna ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak da ki\u015filerde unutkanl\u0131k, \u00f6\u011frenme ve ezberleme yetene\u011finin azalmas\u0131na yol a\u00e7\u0131yor, uzun vadede de bili\u015fsel tembellik olu\u015fuyor.
