Bu bitkilerin 4 bine yak\u0131n\u0131 (3 bin 649) y\u00f6reye \u00f6zg\u00fc iklim ve toprak \u015fartlar\u0131nda yeti\u015fen endemik t\u00fcr ve \u00e7e\u015fitlerden olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Mevcut bitki t\u00fcr ve \u00e7e\u015fitlerimizin yakla\u015f\u0131k bini de \u00fclkemizde veya d\u00fcnyada \u0131tr\u00ee ve t\u0131bbi bitki olarak kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.  \u00dclkemiz ihracat\u0131nda 2023 y\u0131l\u0131 itibar\u0131yla birinci s\u0131ray\u0131 16 bin 954 ton ile kekik, ikinci s\u0131ray\u0131 14 bin 771 ton ile defne yapra\u011f\u0131 alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kimyon, ki\u015fni\u015f, biberiye, nane, di\u011fer ihra\u00e7 \u00fcr\u00fcnlerimizdir. \u00dclkemiz defne yapra\u011f\u0131 ihracat\u0131nda d\u00fcnyada tekel durumdad\u0131r ve d\u00fcnya talebi bellidir. Bu sebeple hem fiyat dengesinin sa\u011flanmas\u0131, en \u00f6nemlisi de do\u011fan\u0131n korunmas\u0131 i\u00e7in a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 kesimden ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmas\u0131 olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemli bir husustur.
